Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. With matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and mild gouges on the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Heavy pressure mark between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. On the underside of the stock there are light to mild gouges on the butt. The initials "B.G" and "M.L" are scratched into the wrist next to the trigger guard. Mild to heavy gouging along the comb. Handguard has a mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band and a mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Barrel has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
P stamped.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number 1918 bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Tip of the blade has been blunted. Light surface marks on the guard. Both walnut grips have heavy pressure marks. Pommel has light to mild surface marks. A wooden plug is inserted into the mortise to prevent installation onto a rifle but the plug is easily removed.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish. Leather frog has an illegible sattler stamp. The initials "GM" are scratched into the backside of the frog.
