Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting, light surface marks on the outer edge of the crown). 4/5 Stock. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the butt below the Swiss acceptance stamp. Light gouging on the pistol grip and wrist. Mild pressure marks below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are mild gouges on the butt below the comb. Mild pressure marks and light gouging on the wrist. Mild pressure marks in front of the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light to mild gouge on the butt at the toe. Light gouge in front of the magazine plate. Mild pressure mark on the top of the wrist. Handguard has a heavy gouge in front of the ferrule. Light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Light patina over the chamber. Rear barrel band has light pitting and heavy patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard has light to mild finish wear and mild pitting. Magazine base has light to mild finish wear.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number 1918 bayonet, produced by Elsener Schwyz, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light to mild pitting and light marks on the edge. Grip panels were sanded. Light pitting on the pommel.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish and heavy patina.
Leather frog was made by R. Petitjean of Moutier (Bern) in 1942.
