Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Bolt sleeve is an armory refurbishment with matching electropenciled serial number, common with 1943 and 1944 production K31 Carbines.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouging on the butt. Light gouging forward of the wrist, below the bolt release lever. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouging at the rear of the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Heavy pressure marks on the inside of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are mild to heavy gouges on the butt at the toe. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has a heavy gouge near the ferrule and a heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.

Soldier’s tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
