Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produces in 1942, in Good condition with 70% finish. 4/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a long heavy pressure mark on the butt and on the wrist. Mild gouging around the finger groove. Light gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt near the comb. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Mild gouging between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the toe. Mild gouging on the wrist. Light gouging between the magazine plate and the rear barrel band. On the top of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouging along the comb. Handguard has light gouging near the ferrule and mild gouging before the front barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish, light to mild pitting, and a heavy surface mark on the top side. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish and light pitting. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish. Magazine base has heavily worn finish and patina.
No P stamp noted.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
