Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in Good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, two small spots of pitting at the start of the rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the forward end of the butt. Heavy gouging on the pistol grip and wrist. On the left side of the stock there are heavy gouges on the wrist. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Mild pressure mark before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are mild gouges on the butt. Heavy pressure marks and light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has a 1987 competition sticker in front of the ferrule. Heavy gouge near the competition sticker. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Magazine base is approaching white.
P stamped.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
