Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Bluing was previously refurbished. Furniture was sanded and refinished with a semi-gloss finish.
Stock has a repair at the rear of the butt. Unrepaired crack on the underside of the stock in front of and parallel to the barrel band spring.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge at the woodline, forward of the wrist. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the pistol grip. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark near the ferrule and mild pressure marks between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light pitting. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish. Front barrel band has light scratches. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
Rear sight has a micrometric device installed for fine adjustment.
P stamped.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
