Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1947, in very good condition with 90% finish. 3/5 Bore (worn rifling, light to mild pitting throughout the bore). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard non-matching serial numbers; both with serial number 927175 from 1949. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock finish is worn around the butt. On the right side of the stock there are various pressure marks and light gouges across the rear and bottom of the butt. There are a pair of gouges on the grip and some rash below the bolt release lever which continue to the underside of the stock. Heavy pressure mark just below the woodline, below the handguard ferrule. On the left side of the stock, there are some scrapes on the grip. Scratches on the forearm about halfway in between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are a few gouges near the toe. There is a gouge near the rash on the forearm. Gouge on the comb of the stock near the heel.
All bluing has been refurbished. Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot and a light scratch in the finish at the rear of the receiver. German proof marks found on the left side of the receiver, with an Eagle over N proof, Munich proof house stamp, and "1075". Both barrel bands have very light to light finish wear. The exposed section of barrel is lightly stamped with "CAL 7.5mm". Magazine plate has a small, light mark next to the magazine catch. Minor edge wear on the trigger guard. Very light to light edge wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
