Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt is refurbished with matching electropenciled serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is some sort of splice or insert at the butt, below the heel. Multiple light gouges around the butt. Mild gouge on the upper edge of the finger groove. Multiple heavy gouges below the finger groove. Light scrape on the forearm in between the two barrel bands and a light gouge near the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is dark discoloration at the butt and scattered light pressure marks. There are several groups of fair to moderate pressure marks running from the grip to the right side of the finger groove. Light gouging around the finger groove. Light gouges on the forearm, just below the woodline in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there is heavy finish wear and blemishes from the toe to the pistol grip. In front of the magazine plate there appears to be a rectangular insert or splice. Heavy finish wear along the comb of the stock as well as some light gouges. Handguard has a light gouge on the top side before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is heavily worn along the left side. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light scratches in the finish. Light finish wear on the barrel. Heavy edge wear and mild finish wear on the front sight base. Light to mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Fair edge wear and light finish wear on the trigger guard. Light finish wear and some spots of light pitting on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
