Product Description
Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in excellent condition with 95% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt with matching electropenciled serial number, common with 1943 production. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture overall is very clean and has no evidence that it had been sanded and refinished. Stock was made out of two pieces of beech with the splice seen at the grip and comb. There is some light wear on the underside of the stock in between the two barrel bands, possibly caused either by resting the forearm on something for stabilization during shooting, or from storage conditions. There are a pair of dark spots on the top of the handguard.
Receiver finish is very dark and solid. There are no immediate signs that the finish is refurbished. Minor edge wear around the loading slot and and light edge wear on the forward edge on the right side. Both barrel bands have very light finish wear. Some light scratches in the finish noted on the top side of the exposed barrel. Little finish wear noted on the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
