Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 bore (very light pitting throughout the grooves). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there are light pressure marks throughout the butt, with a heavy pressure mark around the center of the butt. Long pressure marks around the grip. Multiple mild and heavy pressure marks below the receiver and around the finger groove. Several heavy pressure marks on the forearm between the right side of the finger groove and the rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. Mild to fair pressure marks before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt and mild gouging above the rear sling mount. Below the forward end of the comb, above the pistol grip, there is a cluster of light pressure marks. Light gouge to the right of the finger groove, near the magazine. Mild pressure mark above the right edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there is light handling wear at the butt. Deep gouge on the forearm before the rear barrel band. The handguard has mild pressure marks between the ferrule and rear barrel band and light to mild pressure marks between the barrel bands.
The receiver, front barrel band, and trigger guard has had some sort of substance splashed onto them which had stained the bluing. Receiver finish is mildly worn. Mild finish wear and mild patina on the rear barrel band. Moderate to heavy finish wear on the front barrel band. Heavy edge wear around the front sight. Mark in the finish on the magazine plate, next to the magazine catch. Magazine has mild edge wear around the base.
Receiver is P stamped.
