Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture had been completely sanded and refinished and currently presents little handling wear. There are still some blemishes present, either sustained after the furniture was refinished or remnants of previous blemishes. On the right side of the stock there are a couple of light, long pressure marks around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are some light scratches at the butt below the heel. On the underside of the stock, there is some white paint transfer at the toe and a pair of light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has a gouge on the right side halfway between the ferrule and the rear barrel band.
Mostly light finish wear throughout the receiver, with mild finish wear along the left side. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Moderate to heavy finish wear and heavy patina on the right side of the rear barrel band. Light finish wear and very light patina on the front barrel band. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine base. Both the trigger guard and magazine have light pitting.
Receiver is P stamped.
