Product Description
Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1*/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has likely been previously sanded and refinished as the Swiss military acceptance stamp on the right side of the stock is shallow. There aren't many pressure marks present but there are some scattered gouges. On the right side of the stock, there is a small gouge below the comb. There are two small gouges below the left and right sides of the finger groove and there is a small, unrepaired crack on the finger groove, dropping the furniture grade from 4/5 to 1/5. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge just below the woodline to the right of the receiver's serial number. On the underside of the stock there is a small gouge near the trigger guard. There is a small gouge in front of the magazine plate.
Bluing has been refurbished. Receiver has very light to light finish wear. There is a slight discoloration in the bluing on the rear edge of the loading slot. Light finish wear and light patina on the rear barrel band. Light scratches in the finish on the front barrel band. Both barrel bands have tooling marks on the mounting screws. Minor edge wear on the trigger guard. Spots of light edge wear and light marks on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
