Swiss K31, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has numerous light to mild pressure marks throughout. On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy gouge on the pistol grip and a second heavy gouge above that on the grip. There is some gouging on the woodline to the left of the handguard ferrule and a long, thin gouge below the handguard ferrule. There are several marks and scratches along the woodline, including a long scratch running between the stock and handguard. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy gouge near the rear sling mount, hidden by the sling in the photo. Heavy handling wear between the grip and the right edge of the finger groove. Small gouge on the woodline to the left of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a gouge near the toe. There is some gouging in front of the magazine plate and a couple of light pressure marks and a heavy pressure mark on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band spring. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot. Light finish wear along the left side of the receiver. Moderate finish wear and light to mild patina on the rear barrel band. Very light to light finish wear on the front barrel band, which may be refinished. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Fair edge wear on the trigger guard. Heavy finish wear on the front half of the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes leather sling.
