Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1936, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture features tiger striping throughout the left side of the stock and throughout the handguard. Mild handling wear overall.
On the right side of the stock, there is a large decal on the butt for the 19th Federal Veterans Shoot held in Thun (canton Bern) in 1996. In front of the sticker there are some long pressure marks and there are a few light gouges on the grip. On the left side of the stock there is a mild gouge in front of the rear sling mount and mild to fair pressure marks on and around the grip. Heavy pressure marks found to the right of the finger groove. To the left of the finger groove there is some gouging and some heavy pressure marks. Light gouging on the forearm in between the two barrel bands. Multiple pressure marks and light gouging on the underside of the stock between the butt and the pistol grip. Heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mostly light finish wear, with slightly heavier finish wear along the left side of the receiver. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light edge wear on the right side at the forward edge. Light finish wear and light patina on the rear barrel band. Light finish wear on the front barrel band, as well as some surface marks. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Moderate to heavy finish wear and mild patina on the base of the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
