Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1955, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Light tiger stripe pattern on the left side of the stock.
On the right side of the stock, there is a small area of heavy finish wear at the butt, below the heel. There are multiple heavy pressure marks throughout the butt, and light scrapes along the lower edge. There are some scattered light gouges along the forearm. On the left side of the stock, there is mild finish wear at the butt below the heel, behind the rear sling mount. Mild pressure marks throughout the butt and the grip. Light gouges on the pistol grip and a mild gouge on the grip above the trigger. Between the grip and the right side of the finger groove there are multiple fair to moderate pressure marks. Mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band which extends up to the handguard. There are a few mild pressure marks between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there are multiple pressure marks and some mild gouges on the butt from the toe to the pistol grip. There are a couple of gouges on the rear of the pistol grip and another gouge on the underside of the grip near the magazine plate's rear screw. In front of and to the right of the magazine plate, there are several moderate to heavy gouges, and there are some heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. In between the two barrel bands there are multiple long scratches, most likely caused by repeated removal and installation of the rear barrel band. The handguard has multiple moderate to heavy pressure marks from the ferrule to the rear barrel band. There are some scattered light gouges on the top side between the two barrel bands.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface scratches on the rear of the receiver. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light patina. Mild edge wear around the front sight base. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light to mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Magazine plate and trigger guard has some light pitting from previous rust. Light edge wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. 62 stamped on the tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1962.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
