Product Description
Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1955, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
There is a sticker on the underside of the stock at the forearm, rear of the rear barrel band. This seems to be a sticker for a law firm. The handguard has remnants of previous Schützenfest participation stickers, with the one visible sticker indicating a Schutzenfest in Thun (Canton Bern). There are also remnants of an adhesive label on the left side of the stock.
Furniture has been previously sanded and refinished. On the right side of the stock there are some light scratches on the grip. On the left side of the stock there is mild finish wear above the toe and light scuffing on the grip. Light scuffs on the forearm before the round decal. Handguard has some light marks on the top side before the rear barrel band, a pair of light marks in front of the rear barrel band, and light finish wear in between the two barrel bands.
Bluing may have been refinished. Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot and at the rear of the receiver. Light blemish on the top side of the receiver near the bolt plug. Light spots from pitting on the right side of the receiver. Light finish wear on the left side of the receiver at the rear. Heavy patina on the rear barrel band. Areas of light finish wear on the front barrel band. Both barrel bands have light tooling marks. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Very light to light edge wear on the trigger guard.
