Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1953, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Heavy handling wear around the butt of the stock, resulting in a worn finish and many gouges. On the right side of the stock there is a small scrape about midway up from the butt of the stock. Small gouge on the side of the pistol grip. There are a few light marks around the edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are a few light marks and gouges below the comb and long, shallow gouges around the rear sling mount. Handling wear on the side of the stock below the receiver, with multiple light marks and scratches. There are a few light gouges around the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are multiple gouges between the toe and the pistol grip. Scrapes and gouges along the comb. Handguard has a couple of gouges on the top side near the rear sight. On the left side near the rear sight above the woodline are a series of heavy pressure mark and a long mark that extends to the stock.
Receiver has light finish wear. Light edge wear around the loading slot, mild edge wear along the right side. Both barrel bands are likely refinished. Heavy finish wear on the exposed barrel and heavy edge wear on the front sight. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light edge wear and light finish wear on the trigger guard and magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
