W+F Bern Swiss K11 w/ Matching Bayonet - sn 69xxx
Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 92% finish (refurbished). 4/5 Bore (bright bore, lightly worn rifling, light pitting in grooves near the muzzle). 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Charging handle knobs matching serial number.
Furniture overall is in very good condition with limited handling wear. Swiss military acceptance stamp on the right side of the stock is very sharp. On the right side of the stock, there is a light surface scratch near the magazine and two mild pressure marks rear of the barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are a few scattered light pressure marks between the grip and the finger groove.
Receiver finish is a refurbishment and very dark. Light edge wear around the ejection port and at the rear of the receiver. There are some small marks in the metal surface, particularly on the top side of the receiver. Both barrel bands have excellent bluing with minimal wear. The front barrel band has minor edge wear on the bayonet lug. Trigger plate has excellent finish with minor wear around the front mounting screw. Trigger guard has excellent finish with minor edge wear. Magazine has excellent finish with minor edge wear.
Bottom charging handle knob is cracked.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet manufactured by Elsener Schwyz. Bayonet includes steel scabbard and leather frog.

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
