Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1931, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 1*/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Model 1918 bayonet matching serial number.
Furniture exhibits heavy handling wear with many pressure marks throughout. Finish is worn around the butt, particularly around the toe. On the right side of the stock, there is heavy finish wear found below the bolt release lever. There is gouging on the bottom right edge of the finger groove and there are additional gouges below the finger groove. Above and to the right of the finger groove are multiple gouges that extend to the handguard. On the left side of the stock, there is a large, unrepaired crack running from the receiver tang to the side of the grip, dropping the overall furniture grade from 3/5 to 1/5. Several gouges found to the right of the magazine. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark on the grip. On the forearm there is an extension of the gouging below the right side finger groove.
Receiver has mild finish wear at the rear on the top and left sides. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Various light scratches in the finish throughout the receiver. Rear barrel band has moderate finish wear and light patina. Moderate to heavy finish wear on the front barrel band. Magazine plate has some rash in front of the trigger guard. Trigger guard has mild to fair finish wear and a light surface scratch. Base of the magazine has moderate to heavy finish wear.
Receiver is P stamped.
Bolt knobs exhibit heavy handling wear.
Matching model 1918 bayonet includes scabbard and leather frog. Scabbard was made by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Tip of the blade has been slightly blunted. Fair to moderate finish wear on the scabbard.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes leather sling.
