Product Description
Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture is clean, however there are a couple of gouges present, which prevents a 5/5 grade. It is also likely that it has been sanded and refinished as there is no Swiss military stamp on the left side of the stock, and the stamp on the top of the handguard is almost gone. The right side of the stock has few notable blemishes. The left side of the stock has some light to mild pressure marks in between the end of the grip and the rear sling mount. On the underside of the stock there are some light pressure marks at the toe and some light scuffing on the right side of the toe. There are a few light pressure marks at the comb. Handguard has a few light pressure marks on the top side in between the rear sight and the rear barrel band. On the left side of the handguard are a few small gouges below the rear sight.
Receiver has very heavy finish wear at the rear of the receiver, toward the left side, as well as some light scratches along the top of the receiver. Light edge wear around the loading slot and the upper lightening cuts. Light pitting found at the rear of the receiver. Some parts may have been refinished as the rear sight has bluing on the numbers where it is normally in the white. Rear barrel band has minimal finish wear. Front barrel band has minor finish wear on the left side at the hinge and minor edge wear on the bayonet lug. Fair to moderate finish wear on the front sight. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Moderate to heavy finish wear on the underside of the trigger guard and magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
