Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1917, in good condition with 75% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has moderate handling wear overall. Many pressure marks are found throughout, especially around the butt of the stock and on the comb. On the right side of the stock there is a gouge and a scrape above the magazine. Heavy pressure mark inside the finger groove, on the upper edge of the finger groove, and to the right of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are a few heavy pressure marks to the right of the grip, below the comb. There are scratches above the finger groove and a heavy pressure mark on the bottom edge of the finger groove. Gouge on the forearm near the front barrel band that runs between the stock and handguard. Handguard has various scratches on the left side below the rear sight and a small gouge at the woodline. Various scrapes and pressure marks found in between the two barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Heavy finish wear at the rear of the receiver and on the right side. There are multiple scratches and marks in the finish on the left side near the loading slot. Heavy finish wear on both barrel bands. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard. Magazine base is nearly in the white.
Receiver is P stamped. "29" stamped under the serial number. Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
