Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1931, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock exhibits fair to moderate handling wear overall with numerous mild pressure marks and light to mild gouges found throughout. Be sure to carefully review the provided photos as we will not be listing every mark found on the furniture. Finish is worn around the edge of the butt of the stock, around the butt plate. On the right side of the stock, there is a long scratch below the left side of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there is a light scratch in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a small, light gouge and multiple mild to heavy pressure marks along the toe and pistol grip. Heavy pressure marks and a gouge on the left and right sides of the magazine plate, in between the trigger guard and magazine. Handguard exhibits moderate to heavy wear with many pressure marks, scuffs, and gouges. Several gouges are found between the tangent sight and the rear barrel band. Many marks and gouges along the woodline on the left and right sides of the handguard.
Receiver has mostly light finish wear throughout. Slightly heavier finish wear along the top side and heavy edge wear at the rear of the receiver. Scattered spots of light pitting. Mild edge wear around the loading slot and light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Mild finish wear along the right side of the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear, light patina, and scattered light surface marks. Magazine plate has mild to fair finish wear in front of the trigger guard. Trigger guard has heavy edge wear, moderate finish wear, and light pitting. Magazine has heavy finish wear and light pitting on the underside.
Bolt knobs are worn but intact.
Receiver is P stamped.

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
