Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1927, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture previously had a non-original gloss coat applied. There are areas on the furniture where this gloss finish has worn away. Heavy finish wear around the butt of the stock, especially on the right side of the heel. There are various scratches, mild to moderate pressure marks, and a few gouges around the butt. Around the middle of the stock, there are several heavy gouges present, as well as a scratch below and to the left of the finger groove. There is a heavy scratch above the upper right side of the finger groove. There are many scratches and heavy pressure marks along the forearm. On the left side of the stock there are some gouges above the toe. Rear of the rear sling mount there are many mild to fair pressure marks and gouging on the rear edge of the sling mount cutout, as if the stock was used to repeatedly strike something. There are several long scratches at the area from the grip to the right of the finger groove. There is a gouge above the center of the finger groove and a gouge inside the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are a couple gouges around the toe. There are numerous pressure marks on the forearm between the barrel bands. The handguard has numerous pressure marks between the barrel bands and a gouge on the left side near the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavy finish wear at the rear on the top and left side. Numerous scratches in the finish running along the left side. Mild to fair edge wear around the loading slot, light to mild edge wear around the lightening cuts. Moderate finish wear between the loading slot and the left side lightening cut. Fair edge wear on the right side at the forward edge. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light scratches in the finish. Fair finish wear on the trigger guard. Magazine has light to mild finish wear and light edge wear.
Receiver is P stamped.
