Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1927, in good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (light wear to the crown and light pitting by the muzzle). 2/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture exhibits moderate to heavy wear. Numerous pressure marks throughout, ranging in severity from light to heavy. On the right side of the stock there is a small gouge just below the woodline and wear along the woodline to the left of the handguard. There are several gouges, heavy pressure marks, and heavy finish wear around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a large crack at the grip that has been armory repaired. There is a gouge just below the woodline, below and to the right of the receiver's left side lightening cut. Before the rear barrel band, there is a gouge on the forearm at the woodline and extends to the handguard. Small gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock are a few long pressure marks in the area between the end of the magazine plate and the rear barrel band. The handguard has a small but deep gouge on the top side in between the rear sight and the rear barrel band.
Receiver has moderate to heavy finish wear. There are various surface marks in the metal, particularly on the top, around and in front of the upper lightening cuts. Light finish wear and light patina on the rear barrel band. The rear barrel band's light finish wear compared to the rest of the blued components suggests that the rear barrel band's bluing had been refurbished at some point. Front barrel band has moderate to heavy finish wear. Fair to moderate finish wear on the exposed barrel. Light to mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard and magazine base. The base of the magazine has a deep impact mark that is almost penetrating.
Receiver is P stamped. Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
