W+F Bern Swiss K11 - s/n 92xxx
Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1920, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Finish and handling wear around the butt of the stock. On the right side of the stock there is some scuffing near the pistol grip. Around the finger groove there are multiple light gouges. On the left side of the stock there are some scratches below the comb, around the rear sling mount. Forward of the grip there is fair handling wear below the woodline and there is a mild gouge below the woodline, below the receiver's left side lightening cut. There are a few small, light gouges on the underside of the stock near the toe and a pressure mark on the underside of the pistol grip. In front of the magazine plate there are multiple pressure marks and a few light gouges. There appears to be a chip at the receiver tang that has been covered with a filler material. On the right side of the handguard, there are some light scratches at the woodline at the base of the handguard and a pair of light gouges on the woodline.
Bluing may have been previously partially or fully refurbished as the rear tangent sight is completely blued. Receiver has mild to fair finish wear throughout. Moderate edge wear around the loading slot and moderate finish wear to the left of the loading slot, above the lightening cut. Fair to moderate finish wear at the rear of the receiver on the top and left sides. Rear barrel band has moderate to heavy finish wear. Front barrel band has light finish wear and light tooling marks. Light finish wear at the forward area of the magazine plate. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard. Light finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Upper bolt knob is also chipped.
Includes leather sling.
