Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture exhibits moderate to heavy handling wear. Stock has been armory repaired around the receiver tang. There are multiple pressure marks and gouges around the butt of the stock on both sides. On the right side of the stock there are some moderate pressure marks on the pistol grip and on the grip. Multiple heavy pressure marks and mild gouges to the right of the bolt release lever. Pressure marks around the finger groove and there is a gouge just below the upper edge of the finger groove. In front of the rear barrel band there are multiple light to mild pressure marks at the woodline between the stock and handguard. There are scratches and a V shaped gouge on the forearm near the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are numerous pressure marks and light to mild gouges from the grip to the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are a pair of gouges at the toe. The handguard has a couple of light gouges on the top side behind the tangent sight and there are a series of scratches and light pressure marks along the top side and left side from the tangent sight to the rear barrel band.
The heel of the stock is stamped with VALAIS for Canton Valais.
Receiver has mild finish wear, with slightly heavier finish wear on the rear left side. Mild edge wear around the loading slot, light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Rear barrel band has fair to moderate finish wear on the right side. Front barrel band has mild to fair finish wear but the right side of the barrel band at the high area is in the white. Most of the front sight base is in the white. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
