Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knobs non-matching serial numbers.
Tiger striping pattern throughout the stock. Pressure marks throughout the furniture. On the right side of the stock, there is some rash and gouging at the comb before the grip and a pair of gouges and a heavy pressure mark on the grip. Below the bolt release lever, low on the stock there are several heavy pressure marks and light gouges. There is a gouge above the left side of the finger groove, and on the right edge of the finger groove there is a gouge and a long, heavy pressure mark. On the left side of the stock there is a triangular shaped heavy pressure mark in front of the rear sling mount. Heavy handling wear along the woodline below the receiver. On the underside of the stock, there is gouging around the right side of the magazine plate near the trigger guard. In front of the magazine plate there is a small gouge. The comb has multiple pressure marks and several gouges. The handguard has a gouge on the right side at the woodline in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light finish wear and light patina, as well as scattered surface marks throughout. Light edge wear around the loading slot, the lightening cuts, on the rear edge, and on the right edge of the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear as well as various surface marks in the metal. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light finish wear on the trigger guard. Light to mild finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped. "34" stamp underneath the serial number indicates armory refurbishment in 1934.
Bolt knobs have no cracks or chips and exhibit fair handling wear.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes leather sling.
