Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1931, in good condition with 75% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 1*/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has an unrepaired 1/4" long crack at the receiver tang. Handguard has an unrepaired crack on the top side in between the two barrel bands. These lower the furniture grade from 4/5 to 1/5.
Furniture had been sanded and refinished, but there are still some remnants of previous gouging remaining. On the right side of the stock, there is a light scratch in the finish on the lower edge of the butt. On the inside right edge of the finger groove there is a heavy pressure mark. On the left side of the stock, there is a pressure mark on the left edge of the rear sling mount and a pair of gouges below the rear sling mount.
The receiver has areas of heavy finish wear along the top and left sides, and mild to fair finish wear through the rest of the receiver. Straw colored patina throughout. There are various surface marks throughout the receiver. Mild patina on both barrel bands. Rear barrel band is likely refinished and has finish wear on the underside. Heavy finish wear on the front barrel band. Moderate to heavy finish wear and patina on the exposed barrel and the front sight base. Mild finish wear and scattered surface marks on the magazine plate. Heavy finish wear and surface marks on the trigger guard. Magazine base had been polished and is in the white.
Receiver is P stamped.
