Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1929, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, very light pitting throughout). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Light to mild pressure marks throughout the furniture. Stock has fair handling wear around the butt with associated finish wear. On the right side of the stock at the butt are some surface scrapes and below the comb is a mild gouge. On the left side of the stock below the sling mount there are several heavy pressure marks. On and around the grip are some groupings of multiple pressure marks and an area of gouging, as well as a heavy pressure mark on the pistol grip. Heavy gouge to the right of the finger groove. Light gouge below the left side of the finger groove. On the forearm there are heavy pressure marks and mild gouging near the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are multiple mild to fair pressure marks and a few light gouges from the toe to the pistol grip. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. The handguard has several mild to fair pressure marks on the left side below the rear sight.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina throughout. Light edge wear around the loading slot and lightening cuts. Rear of the receiver has fair to moderate edge wear and mild patina. Bluing on the barrel bands are possibly refinished. Both have very light finish wear and light patina. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Moderate finish wear and heavy patina on the trigger guard. Moderate to heavy edge wear and heavy patina around the base of the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
The butt plate's screw heads have been flattened and we are unable to remove it to check for a soldier's tag.
