Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1928, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knobs matching serial number.
Furniture had been lightly sanded and refinished with a gloss coat and much of the previous handling wear had been eliminated. The Swiss military acceptance stamp on the right side of the butt is still somewhat visible.
On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark at the butt, behind the rear sling mount. On the underside of the stock there is an area in front of the magazine catch that had been heavily sanded, making a small part of the magazine plate visible from the right side. There is a mild vertical pressure mark on the left side of the handguard below the rear sight.
Receiver finish has light to mild finish wear throughout, with a small area of moderate to heavy finish wear at the rear. Light patina on the forward area of the receiver, mostly around the chamber. Light surface scratches on the rear of the receiver. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Bluing on both barrel bands had been refurbished. Mild patina on the exposed barrel and the front sight base. Magazine plate has moderate finish wear around the magazine. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard. Very light to light finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
