Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1927, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Light to mild pressure marks found throughout the furniture. On the right side of the stock there is a gouge above the toe and a gouge above the pistol grip. Below the finger groove are a couple of light gouges. On the left side of the stock, there is a light gouge at the top of the grip, near the bolt plug. Multiple small pressure marks and scattered light gouges on the underside of the stock between the toe and the pistol grip. Small gouge on the forearm about halfway between the two barrel bands. Handguard has an armory repaired crack on the top left side and a heavy gouge on the right side below the rear sight.
Light finish wear throughout the receiver, as well as some scattered surface marks. Light edge wear around the loading slot, around the lightening cuts, and at the rear of the receiver. Light scratch in the finish to the right of the upper finger grooves. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light to mild patina. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine base and mild patina.
Receiver is P stamped.
Bottom bolt knob had been chipped and it looks like the previous owner had glued the chipped piece back onto the knob.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
