Product Description
Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1923, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Areas of the stock had been previously sanded down.
On the right side of the stock, there are remains of a heavy gouge on the butt that has been sanded down. Group of light to mild pressure marks before the finger groove. Light gouge in front of the finger groove. Remains of heavy gouges between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Mild pressure marks before the finger groove, near the magazine. Small, mild gouge on the pistol grip. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has a small, heavy pressure mark behind the rear sight. Light gouging between the rear sight and rear barrel band. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
The stock has an oval shaped insert on the underside of the butt. This is indicative that the stock was originally made for the 1911 Infantry Rifle and was repurposed for K11 production. This plug covers where the 1911 Rifle's rear sling mount would have been installed.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Very light to light spots from pitting scattered throughout. Light finish wear on both barrel bands. Light to mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild to heavy finish wear and light patina on the trigger guard. Heavy finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
