Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouge near the magazine catch. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark and light gouge at the rear of the grip. Pair of light gouges and heavy handling wear between the forward end of the grip and the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks in and above the finger groove.
Receiver has light edge wear and multiple surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light edge wear on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped. 33 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1933.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet with scabbard, made by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Bayonet has heavy pressure marks on the wood grips and light pitting at the base of the pommel. Scabbard has mild finish wear, light patina, and light pitting.
