Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Model 1899 bayonet matching serial number.
Light pressure marks throughout the furniture. On the right side of the stock there are various marks along the butt. On the left side of the stock there is a gouge on the grip as well as an armory repair. There are some pressure marks on the bottom edge of the finger groove and a couple of marks at the woodline above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a gouge rear of the pistol grip.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear, with heavier finish wear noted over the chamber and on the right side around the relief opening. Fair edge wear around the loading slot, light edge wear around the lightening cuts, mild edge wear at the rear of the receiver. Both barrel bands appear to have been refinished. Light tooling marks present on both barrel bands. Areas of mild to fair finish wear on the magazine plate. Light finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P 64 stamped indicating privatization in 1964. L26 stamp underneath the serial number indicating armory refurbishment in 1926.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
1899 bayonet includes steel scabbard and leather frog. Bayonet was made by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Light pitting throughout the blade. Scabbard has light finish wear and light pitting.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
