This Swiss 1911 is in very good condition with 92% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard have matching serial numbers. Bolt matches serial number. Magazine matches serial number. Charging handle knob is cracked. There is a gouge on the handguard near the front barrel band. Scrape mark on the left side of the stock adjacent to the finger groove. Receiver is P stamped. Soldier's tag found under butt plate. Includes M1889 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with matching serial number. Bayonet includes steel scabbard and leather frog. Includes muzzle cover and sling. Discreet import engraving.
The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
