Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has light handling wear and scattered light pressure marks. Mild to fair finish wear around the edge of the butt. On the right side of the stock, there are two small vertical pressure marks adjacent to the grip. There are a few mild pressure marks in the area between the bolt release lever and the beginning of the finger groove. There is a 2-3" long gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are several light to mild pressure marks rear of the grip area. The bottom edge of the finger groove has a few light pressure marks. On the underside of the stock there is a mild pressure mark near the right side of the magazine plate and a couple of mild to fair pressure marks near the front end of the magazine plate. Small pressure mark adjacent to the front barrel band. The handguard has a small gouge in between the two barrel bands, closer to the rear barrel band on the left side, and a couple of light scrapes on the top side near the front barrel band.
Receiver has fairly solid finish, with light finish wear over the chamber. Light edge wear around the loading slot and the lightening cuts. Small surface marks in the metal present. Both barrel bands have very good finish. Rear barrel band has light finish wear on the sling loop. Front barrel band has very light edge wear on the bayonet lug. Very light to light finish wear on the magazine plate. Trigger guard has light edge wear and light pitting. Magazine has heavy finish wear on the base.
Receiver is P stamped.

The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
