Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has light to mild pressure marks throughout. On the right side of the stock, there are various light scratches and pressure marks around the butt. Below the bolt release lever are a few light to mild pressure marks and a rough spot with a few light gouges. There is some finish wear inside the finger groove, pressure marks on the bottom edge, and multiple light scratches above the right side of the finger groove. In front of the finger groove are a few light pressure marks and light gouging. On the left side of the stock, there are a few scratches on the side of the butt. Just beyond the grip are a pair of moderate pressure marks and moderate handling wear along the woodline. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear sling mount. There are various marks along the comb and a chip behind the receiver tang. The handguard has a moderate pressure mark near the Swiss military acceptance stamp on the top side, and various light pressure marks throughout.
With the exception of a few light scratches and marks in the metal, the receiver finish is in very good condition. Very light to light edge wear around the loading slot. Minor to very light edge wear around the lightening cuts. Mild mark in the finish above the serial number. Rear barrel band has moderate finish wear. Front barrel band has fair to moderate finish wear. Trigger guard has heavy edge wear and mild finish wear on the underside. Magazine has moderate to heavy edge wear.
Receiver is P stamped. Soldier's tag found under butt plate.

The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
