This Swiss 1911 Rifle, produced in 1918, is in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Furniture has heavy handling wear, with gouges and medium to deep pressure marks scattered throughout. There is an armory-repaired crack at the comb of the stock, near the butt. "55" is stamped into the heel of the stock, in front of the rear sling mount. Receiver has dark bluing, with edge wear present on the loading slot, on the forward edge of the right side, and at the rear adjacent to the bolt plug. Both barrel bands have worn bluing with patina, and exhibit heavier finish wear on the left side. Bluing on front sight is also worn. Trigger plate has good quality finish. Trigger guard has dark bluing as well with some edge wear. Magazine base has edge wear. Receiver is P stamped. Includes muzzle cover. C&R Eligible. Discreet import engraving.

The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
