Swiss 1911, produced in 1917, is in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Charging handle knob is cracked. Stock has light handling wear throughout, with some small dents found on the right side near the butt, to be expected with military service and age. Handguard has a few minor marks. Receiver finish is dark wiwth only some light edge wear seen around the loading slot, near the bolt plug, and the forward edge of the charging handle. Magazine base plate is mostly in the white, with surface frost. Trigger guard has edge wear and surface frost. Light patina on safety ring and both barrel bands. Receiver is P.61 stamped. Includes muzzle cover and sling. Discreet import engraving.
The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
