Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Light tiger stripe pattern is present throughout the stock and handguard. Mild to moderate handling wear is also present, along with various mild pressure marks and light gouges. On the right side of the stock, there is a scrape in the wood on top of the Swiss military acceptance stamp. Before the finger groove, there are a few scratches and several small gouges. On the left side of the stock, there is heavy to very heavy handling wear extending from the grip to the end of the finger groove. There are several pressure marks along the woodline between the stock and handguard. Small gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there is a pressure mark before the rear barrel band, likely caused by the button on the sling. Small gouge on the comb and a few light pressure marks. The handguard has multiple pressure marks throughout, with most of the pressure marks appearing on the top side from the base to the rear barrel band.
Receiver overall has mild finish wear. There are a few marks in the metal present, as well as some light pitting on the top side of the receiver toward the rear. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light to mild edge wear around the top lightening cuts and light to mild edge wear on the left side lightening cut. The rear barrel band has light to mild finish wear with light patina. Front barrel band has mild finish wear on the left side at the hinge, light finish wear on the right side at the mounting screw, and edge wear around the bayonet lug. Heavy finish wear on the barrel. Magazine plate has good finish with some blemishes near the magazine. Trigger guard has heavy edge wear. Magazine has mild finish wear on the sides, the base is in the white.
Top bolt knob is cracked.
Receiver is P stamped.

The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
