Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has tiger striping throughout the butt.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouges on the grip. Scrapes and other rash around the finger groove. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark at the rear of the butt and below the forward end of the comb. Heavy pressure mark at the woodline near the receiver lightening cut. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark between the rear sling mount and the pistol grip, and there are gouges on the rear of the pistol grip. Heavy gouging to the left of the trigger guard. Heavy pressure marks and light gouges between the barrel bands. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has surface marks throughout. Light patina around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light to mild patina. Surface marks around the muzzle. Heavy edge wear on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped. ·25 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1925.
Includes leather sling.
