Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
The Swiss military stamp on the right side of the stock is very sharp. On the right side of the stock there is a gouge near the rear sling mount. Below the bolt release lever is a very deep crescent-shaped gouge and a long scratch in front of that. On the left side of the stock, there is a long scratch along the comb. There are a couple of light gouges and handling wear on the side of the stock, in between the top of the grip and the start of the finger groove, as well as a moderate pressure mark below the serial number. There is heavy handling wear on the bottom of the finger groove and a gouge on the upper edge. Near the handguard ferrule there is an almost vertical scratch in between the stock and handguard as well as a couple of moderate pressure marks. Gouge in front of the rear barrel band. There are several gouges along the comb of the stock. Handguard has a few scattered pressure marks.
Receiver has very solid bluing. Light edge wear on the rear of the receiver at the bolt plug, light edge wear around the loading slot, and minor to very light edge wear around the lightening cuts. There is a crescent-shaped area of heavy finish wear below the rear tangent sight. Rear barrel band is in the white. Front barrel band has mild finish wear overall. Magazine plate has some finish wear in front of the trigger guard and scratches around the mounting screws. Trigger guard has light edge wear and mild finish wear on the underside. Magazine has mild finish wear overall.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
No P stamp on receiver. "30" stamped underneath the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1930.

The Model 1911 rifle is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle produced by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern that employs all of the upgrades of the converted 1896/11 rifle from the factory. The Model 1911 rifle is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) and was produced by the Swiss federal armory from 1913 through 1919.
