Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in good condition with 75% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
Handguard has two cracks. One crack is between the barrel bands about 10" in length and was previously armory repaired. The second crack is in front of the rear barrel band about 4 1/2" in length and is unrepaired.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Rear of the butt is stamped with "Schwyz" for canton Schwyz. Light gouge on the pistol grip. Mild pressure marks before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are a pair of severe gouges on the butt. Mild pressure marks between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Light gouging along the comb. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Patina on almost every surface. Receiver has heavily worn finish and patina throughout. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Barrel has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine is approaching white.
P stamped.
