Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (light to mildly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side, there is a heavy scratch at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure mark and mild gouge around the center of the butt. Light gouging around the edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the butt above the sling mount. Large, mild pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure marks around the finger groove. Light gouge halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the wrist. Mild gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. Handguard has heavy pressure marks around the rear barrel band. Red paint on the right side of the handguard, forward of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has mild edge wear and light surface marks. Magazine base has mildly worn finish.
P54 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1954.
B26 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1926.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
