Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure marks before the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge before the rear barrel band.
Bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and mild pitting on the right side, light scratches on the left side. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish and heavy patina. Trigger guard has light pitting and light surface marks.
P stamped receiver.
WF27 stamped, indicating armory refurbishment in 1927.
