Product Description
Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild to heavy gouge above the magazine. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the butt above the sling mount. Mild pressure marks before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a screw hole on the butt at the toe. On the top of the stock there is a small chip at the receiver tang.
A black coating had been applied to most metal surfaces to refurbish the finish but this coating is flaking off in areas.
Receiver has heavy patina. Barrel bands have light scratches on the top.
Receiver has a dovetail mount installed for a scope.
