Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1914, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has a pair of 1/2" cracks on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Heavy gouge before the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip and wrist. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Mild pressure marks along the comb. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard and magazine base are in the white.
WF26 stamped receiver, indicating refurbishment by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1926.
Includes leather sling.
