Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1914, in Good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Stock has an unrepaired 2" crack at the woodline below the receiver.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the rear of the butt and light gouging below the comb. On the left side of the stock there is a large, heavy gouge at the rear of the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Heavy gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging above the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Light gouging halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the butt in front of the sling mount. On the top of the stock there is a 1/4" crack at the receiver tang. Handguard has a large, shallow gouge on the left side in front of the ferrule.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band also has light pitting. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and light surface marks. Magazine base is in the white.
P59 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1959.
·23 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1923.
Includes leather sling.
