Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1912, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
One of 6,000 produced in the first production year of 1912 with a faster 230mm twist barrel (1:9.05") before switching back to 270mm (1:10.63") later in 1913. These rifles were issued to recruits.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging and heavy pressure marks on the pistol grip and wrist. Heavy pressure mark before the finger groove. Heavy gouging on the woodline above the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a mild gouge around the center of the butt. Light gouging from the wrist to the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are heavy gouges on the butt between the sling mount and pistol grip. Heavy gouge on the comb. On the handguard there are mild pressure marks between the ferrule and rear barrel band and mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. On the right side of the handguard there is a heavy gouge near the woodline in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light pitting. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine plate and trigger guard have heavily worn finish. Magazine base has mild to heavy finish wear.

32 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1932.
