Swiss private production 1911 Infantry Rifle in good condition with 90% finish. 2/5 Bore (heavily worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Tiger stripe pattern throughout the stock.
On the right side of the stock, the original owner's name "Louis Samson" of Vevey (Vaud) is found on a brass plaque at the butt. Light gouging on the butt, on and around the rear of the grip. Light gouging and light to mild pressure marks between the bolt release lever and the rear of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Various light gouges and mild pressure marks between the forward end of the grip and the rear of the finger groove. Pair of large, heavy pressure marks in front of the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks about halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there are multiple light pressure marks between the magazine plate and rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear and light surface marks throughout. Rear barrel band has light scratches on the top side. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light to mild edge wear.
While found on some private production rifles, there are no gunsmith nor gun shop stamps found on the receiver.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
